New to Lowry this year, freshman Brandon Eastman is already making his mark.
Eastman has been chosen as the Athlete of the Week.
Freshman boys basketball coach Ty Lucas said Eastman’s season is going well and he is continuously improving. He has also developed leadership characteristics.
Eastman has become more vocal in his leadership throughout the season and is doing a better job of standing up and helping his teammates.
“He sets a good example academically, grades come first for him,” says Lucas.
Lucas recalled a game against Spring Creek when Eastman made a game-changing play. The game was tied when Eastman took the ball from a Spartan guard and made a lay-up to put Lowry ahead.
