Emelia Legarza is a junior on the varsity track team, she has been chosen as the Lowry High School’s Athlete of the Week.
Legarza ran on the varsity cross country team, played on the varsity girl’s basketball team, and is now running and jumping for the varsity track team.
In the fall Legarza’s team took the state title for the third time in a row. In the winter she was on the basketball team that took the state championship for the first time in eight years.
Legarza is now running on the Lowry track team. Hopefully Legarza’s golden touch works for the track season.
