Johnny Hernandez has been named Athlete of the Week for his play in the second round of playoffs this last weekend. Johnny Hernandez was chosen by the varsity coaches for hard-nosed play and being a great athlete. Even though the Buckaroo’s lost coaches thought Hernandez played extremely well.
“Johnny played incredibly well this game having several caught passes and sacks, but also an interception,” said coach Tim Billingsley.
The Lowry Buckaroos played in Moapa in southern Nevada last weekend and lost 19-6 to the Pirates.
