Robert Stepper is a freshman playing on the freshmen basketball team and is this week’s Athlete of the Week. Robert did not make the junior high basketball team last year, but that didn’t matter to him.
Robert made the freshmen team this season and has gotten better every week because he is competitive and likes to work hard. Cabatbat says due to Robert’s hard work ethic he is the sixth man or starts on the freshmen team.
“He has continued to work hard and strive to be a better athlete,” said coach Cabatbat.
The freshmen boys’ basketball team will be into action on February 8, at Elko High School.
