This week’s Athlete of the Week for JV softball is Taylor Schwartz.
She works hard off-season on her pitching and picked up four of the team’s seven wins. She is also the team’s most consistent hitter with two doubles, three triples and two home runs, and a current batting average of .520. Taylor says it feels great to be chosen for Athlete of the Week, saying that it’s nice to know she’s appreciated. She says that she expects the team to improve and to help to get the freshman more experienced.
Both her defensive and offensive play deserves credit because of how well she has done in both.
