On October 18, The Lady Buckaroo varsity volleyball team went up against the Longhorns of Battle Mountain. The Bucks didn’t do as well as they hoped, as they lost in three straight games.
Despite the loss, the girls are still looking at the bright side of things.
“I feel like we played really well. Even though we lost, all of the games were really close,” said junior Allison Barron.
The Bucks haven’t had that good of a season this year, as they have only managed to pull out three wins. However, the Lady Bucks have had success as of late, as they’ve won two of their last three games.
Despite the struggles this season, the Bucks hope to end the season strong.
“Our goal as the season comes to an end is to just improve and get some more wins,” said Barron.
The Lady Bucks have their last home game of the season as they face off against division rival Elko on October 23.
