Although some of the girls were new to golf this year and had never played they put in the work to have a good season. Being on a team always leads to good memories and this year all the girls came out with some they will never forget.

Jordyn Medicine Cloud said some of her best memories were on the busses traveling from place to place.

“Traveling was always one of my favorite parts of the season,” said Medicine Cloud.

The team was not close at the beginning but by the end of the year they were close and they cannot wait until the next golf season.

“It was a very good season, I definitely improved a lot, my coach and team helped me a lot,” said Isabella Bartell.

Unfortunately, the whole Lowry team was not able to go to state this year but Katelyn Cassinelli and Lainey Novacek both had the opportunity to travel to Genoa, Nevada for state.

“Key to golf is course management, and at the Genoa course it will teach it to you if you are not careful,” said Cassinelli.

Katelyn Cassinelli joined Douglas’ team for 1st Team All-League; Lainey Novacek was 2nd Team All-League. Both Cassinelli and Novacek represented Lowry at state. The Lowry High School Todd Milton award went to Samantha O’Neil from Truckee.
