Recently, Elisabeth George returned to her form school in style.

“In the series we just played in Spring Creek we won all three games and Elisabeth picked up all three wins as a pitcher in the series against her former school, I’m sure it’s hard to return and face your old teammates, but she did it well, and with a lot of composure that she shows every time that she’s on the field,” said coach Espinola. “Elisabeth has been a great addition to Lowry softball since she moved here from Spring Creek this year.”

While beating her hometown has more meaning to her.

“Beating my hometown felt great, at first I didn’t want to beat them but then you get out on the field and the adrenaline kicks in,” said George. “At first beating them I was gonna feel bad because they are my home team.”

Softball requires skill, strategy, and teamwork; for George, it means a lot.

“I enjoy my team a lot,” said George. “We have great communication and teamwork, it’s just amazing. When we are on the field we play really well and communicate very well and that’s what I love about my team.”
