The JV girl’s basketball team had a letdown near the end of their game on January 15, which resulted in their loss to Elko 32-28.
“For the most part, every one put in their best effort, until we got lazy near the end,” said team member Jillian Albright. “With a little bit more practice, we should be able to beat them.”
Albright also said there was room for improvement.
“We could work on rebounds and running our plays. We’ve been improving since Day 1, but we could still improve,” said Albright.
The team’s next game is Friday, January 17 at Battle Mountain.
