February 2008 Students of the Month

Every other month the Lowry High School staff nominates students who are academically and morally exceptional. These students exemplify the quality of leadership and serve as role models to young people both at school and in the community, they set positive examples in words, deeds, and appearances, have positive attitudes, display emotional stability, exhibit self-control, and above all, set positive examples for academic achievement in classroom studies.

The freshmen class student of the month for the month of February is Shane Bell. He was nominated by Mrs. Rebecca Hill who states, “Shane is a great student to have in class. Always turns in work on time, helps other students when needed. Currently has all A’s”. Congratulations Shane Bell!

The sophomore class student of the month for the month of February is TJ Collins. He was nominated by Mr. Walton who states, “TJ is an extremely diligent student. He works hard to complete tasks assigned and finds out how to accomplish the tasks correctly”. Congratulations TJ Collins!

The junior class student of the month for the month of February is J’Mar Tarafa. He was nominated by Ms. Meissner who states, “J’Mar is sophisticated in his thinking, reading, and writing, far beyond his years. He is creative, hard-working, a team player, polite, and is totally a joy to have as a student”. Congratulations J’Mar!

The senior class student of the month for the month of February is Michael Stannard. He was nominated by Mrs. James who states, “Michael is a joy to have in class. He is a model student. He comes to class with an enormous amount of prior knowledge, which enriches class discussion”. Congratulations Michael Stannard!

Thank you to these students who make education their top priority and put everything that they have into their high school career. Lowry High school thanks you for all of your hard work and dedication throughout the year!
