The Junior Varsity girl’s basketball finished the season with two wins over White Pine and West Wendover. The games were played over the course of two days.

On Friday the junior varsity girl’s basketball team played the Wolverines in a rematch of a game earlier this season. Although the Wolverines have improved since their last meeting, the Bucks managed to get their second win over the team. The game was close through the first quarter as the Wolverines were only at a one-point deficit. But after that it was all Buckaroos as the game ended with a final score of 43-24, 30 of those points came from the first half alone.

“They were much better than they were before which was kind of a challenge for us but we managed to push through as always and come out with another win,” said freshman guard Madison Mayo.

The team did very well this season, finishing with only a few losses.

“I thought we did really good this season. Our coach said we have been one of her best teams, if not her best,” said Mayo.
