Lowry Leadership is definitely going to be busy during this September month. The first week of school our class put together our very famous, “Back to School Week”. The weeks’ theme was a carnival theme.

The Lowry High school halls were decorated with all things “carnival”. The week began with the first assembly of the year on Monday morning which turned out pretty well. The rest of the week consisted of carnival-themed lunchtime activities ending with the big one on Friday which involved a mix of carnival games that students could play to win prizes.

Lowry leadership will also be starting to work on and prepare for Homecoming which is next month in October.

Also here at Lowry, we have the Senior Store, which is run by seniors and senior class advisors. This year the Senior Store is new and improved with its new merchandise. At the Senior Store, we sell specific school supplies, breakfast foods, snacks, and drinks as well. This year we have Lowry Buckaroo hats, scarves, license plate frames, along with much, much more for the students and staff. The purpose of the Senior Store is to raise money for the 2012 graduation.

This year it is as busy as ever and everything is selling very well.
