Lowry boys JV defeats Fernley

Lowry Boys J.V. came out victorious, 53-26 on Saturday, February 6 against Fernley.

The Bucks started the game off right receiving the tip. Lowry took the lead in the first quarter 11-8.

“The first half we were a little flat, and we had too many turnovers,” said Lowry’s Bryan Noble.

In the second quarter, Jordan Rinas made a three-point shot with .2 seconds on the clock. Lowry succeeded in maintaining their lead 25-11.

In the third quarter, the Bucks continued their dominance. At the end of the third, Lowry maintained its 14 point lead 35-21.

“I think we picked it up defensively a lot,” said Lowry’s Brandon Eastman, “we got up in their faces, we got some steals; got the easy baskets and that really helped us.”

In the fourth quarter, Lowry continued to make baskets and ended the game 53-26.
