The Buckaroos faced off against the Bobcats on Friday, February 11. At the beginning of the game, White Pine held their ground but slowly Lowry started to take a definite lead. By the end of the first half, the Lowry had a lead of 25 to 7 ahead of the Bobcats.
After the half the Lowry quickly scored more baskets to expand their lead. However White Pine fought backing scoring several more baskets and catching the Buckaroos in score.
Junior Brandon Eastman said, “Well it was a pretty sloppy game, but as usual our defense came through for us in the end and we killed them.”
However, by the end of the game, the Buckaroos had a lead of 28 points ahead of the Bobcats leaving the final score of 65 to 37.
