Lowry High alumna returns to become teacher

By Alexis Galarza Posted April 18, 2021

Tamara Crouch, who used to be a student at Lowry her freshman year, has decided to come back and teach high school.

She has been teaching third through twelfth grade for six years. She graduated from both UNR and UNLV. She was also a long-term sub for four years at Las Vegas High School before earning her license.

The part she enjoys most about teaching is being in an environment where kids are everywhere to “keep her young”.

Crouch will be returning to her roots next year after teaching at French Ford Middle School and the junior high.
