Ms. Marilu Saldate has been an excellent staff member at Lowry High School, she enjoys what she does and was starstruck to find out she won the award this year.
“I feel honored to be recognized by Lowry’s students, staff, and the administration,” said Saldate. “I was very surprised by this award. I love my job and enjoy being helpful and positive.”
Lowry principal, Mr. Ray Parks is proud to have Marilu as a part of his LHS staff; he recognized how hard she has worked to climb to the top.
“Marilu Saldate has been a great addition to the LHS Staff,” said Parks. “She began her career with us as an Instructional Aide and quickly rose to her current position as the Registrar in the Counselor’s Office.”
Parks recognizes her ability to take on challenges and her positive attitude that made her an obvious choice to win this award.
“Ms. Saldate was an obvious choice for this year’s Support Staff Person of the Year for Lowry High School due to her ‘Can do positive attitude’ where she is willing to take on new challenges and support our students and staff in any way that she can,” said Parks. “I feel extremely fortunate to have Marilu Saldate on our staff.”
