Another Nicolas Sparks novel makes it big in the movies just as “Dear John” did.
The “Lucky One” is about a Marine Sergeant named Logan Thibault (Zac Efron) that finds a picture of a woman while he is in Iraq and it ends up being his lucky charm. After he gets back to Colorado from Iraq he credits his survival upon the picture of a woman he found out to be Beth Green (Taylor Schilling). Just to find this woman that was his guardian angel he walked all the way to North Carolina to tell her how she saved him.
When he got to Hampton, North Carolina where she lived he shows up at her door and ends up taking a job at her family-run local kennel. Caught off guard by the attraction he feels after meeting Beth, Thibault keeps the story of the photo, and his luck, a secret.
The Lucky One is an unforgettable story about the surprising paths our lives often take and the power of fate to guide us through everything in life.
This movie is just like every other Nicolas Sparks novel and ends in true love and people living happily-ever-after. Go to your local theatre and watch it soon. It is a good, moving, romantic movie.
