Mr. Andrew Anderson hosts Student Art Show

On Monday, March 4, Lowry held a student art show at the Humboldt Museum. Many proud parents and students attended the show. The makeshift gallery in the small church in front of the museum was filled with Lowry student works of art. The art ranged from graphite drawings to clay sculptures and paintings.

Mr. Andrew Anderson greeted everyone with a warm welcome in the church gallery. He talked to the parents about his art classes and the assignments. Opening night was a huge success and almost everyone who had a piece in the show attended.

In the actual museum, there was artwork from students not just from Lowry, but from all over Nevada. It was nice for Winnemucca to see the variety and diversity of other schools through their artwork.

The art will be open for viewing all this month. Students from the Art Club will be hosting every Saturday. Come check it out before it’s too late.
