This month one of the activities that the Lowry Leadership class will participate in is the Northern Regional Student Council Conference, which will be held at Elko High School on November 24. We are leaving and coming back on the same day. All the northern schools in Nevada will be attending. We will be listening to speakers, participating in workshops and meeting many students from other schools as well.

When some of the leadership students were asked “Are you excited to go to Elko?” many of them said yes. “It’s a lot of fun. I enjoyed it when I went,” said Karl Berentsen. Andrea Vaca replied “Yeah, I’m really excited. I like meeting new people and getting their ideas they use at their school.” Most of the leadership students are new so they haven’t attended a regional conference yet. Desirae Lemm said, “This is my first time actually. So yeah I’m really excited to go.”

As you can see all of the leadership students are excited.

We hope to learn a lot from the speakers, workshops and the many students attending and use all of the ideas and techniques they use at their schools here at Lowry. So good luck to Lowry Leadership.
