According to a recent press release from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Department, 86-year-old Reno resident, Pat Carnes, is still missing.

The release stated that they found his green Subaru station wagon on the south side of I-80 near Exit 205. Pat Carnes was on his way back to Reno from Ohio where he had been visiting family with his dog, Lucy, an Akita/Lab mix. Lucky is also missing. After an extensive search of the area and a grueling eight-month investigation, no valuable leads surfaced for this still open case.

In an effort to get information, the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Kathy Green got the idea to put up billboards requesting help in the general area of his disappearance. The billboard has a picture of Pat and the number for the Secret Witnesses if anyone has any information about the disappearance of Pat Carnes.
