Q: What are your thoughts on your high school career coming to an end?
A: It makes me feel good, graduating high school isn’t something everybody can do, so that’s pretty special.

Q: What high school memory makes you laugh when you look back at it?
A: My sophomore year during Winterfest we had “Sports Day” and the wrestling team decided it would be great to have “Singlet Day” and we pulled that off well. We got a couple of looks from the girls, we got a few numbers that day, it was a good day.

Q: What do you regret about your high school career?
A: Being lazy my freshman year. I almost failed and that’s really screwed me but I was a freshman, what do you expect?

Q: What advice do you have for upcoming seniors?
A: Don’t take it as serious. It’s your senior year and you’ve got a lot to do with it, you’ve only got a couple months left of high school so you might as well live it up. YOLO.

Q: What’s one last thing you’d like to say to Lowry?
A: Go Red Sox.

Q: What advice do you have for upcoming freshmen?
A: Wait your turn. Be patient, just wait and put your time in and by the time you’re a junior and a senior, you’ll be running the school. It’s all part of the system.

Q: What teacher has had a big impact on you in high school?
A: Mr. Espinola, he battles with LMS every day and I go in and try to help him out. He goes hard with it, he’s a trooper. And Coach Billingsley, he’s my role model. He inspires me to be a high school teacher, he has a hard job, but he pulls it off. He motivates me.

Q: Are you excited for college?
A: Very excited. I’m going to play baseball and I’m really going to have to manage my time but I’m not worried about it. I’m going to go up there and ball it up, and live it up. It’s going to be like high school except more fun.

Q: What are your thoughts on your high school career coming to an end?
A: It’s crazy to think that 12 years of my life have passed by, and that I’m losing friends because I’m moving on. But it’s a good thing to get out and explore the world and become successful.

Q: What are your plans for after high school?
A: My plans are to attend University of Idaho, get my associate’s degree, and then transfer to Cal Poli where I’ll get my bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and use my degree to further my skills and ultimately own my own engineering firm.

Q: How have you liked Lowry?
A: Lowry’s pretty great. The teachers here have encouraged me and inspired me to be a better person and I’m going to miss that a lot.

Q: Last words for Lowry?
A: I have four days, I really don’t care what people think. I’m going to do the stupidest things in my last four days starting, wait for it, NOW.

Q: What’s one of your memorable things you’ve done in high school?
A: Sports, and winning Winterfest King with Winterfest Queen Betsy. Guerrero.

Q: Are there any teachers or coaches in particular who have impacted you?
A: Every single coach that I’ve had throughout high school has pushed me, to name a few would be Cabatbat and Mr. Beck. As far as teachers, Mrs. Hill has pushed me to do public speaking which now I am a lot better at, and Mr. Walton, he’s taught me everything I need to know about Lowry these past four years.

Q: What’s a high school memory that makes you laugh?
A: When me and my boys, Kracaw, Krev, and Joe, went on a snowboarding trip. We went buck-wild. We stayed there a couple of days and we did some pretty stupid stuff while we were there, definitely memorable.

Q: What advice do you have for upcoming seniors?
A: Absorb everything and enjoy your last year in high school. It might be sad, but it is happy, too.

Q: What advice do you have for upcoming freshmen?
A: Take as many classes as you want to, especially honors and advanced classes. Those help out a lot in college.

Q: What’s your favorite quote?
A: Don’t quit, suffer now, and live the rest of your life as a champion. – Muhammad Ali

Candace Comeau

A: Kristy Bell, because she’s my senior class advisor and I’m always with her, and she’s really funny. And she gives me wedgies.
