Chelsea Odoms, an English teacher, has gone above the standards to help Lowry and its students.

“Mrs. Odoms is an outstanding English Teacher who has worked hard to achieve her Master’s Degree as she continues to provide highly effective instruction to our students,” said Principal Ray Parks.

As a Freshman class advisor and an advisor for National Honor Society, Ms. Odoms has involved herself with many out-of-school activities to be able to help improve the impact students have on our community.

“Mrs. Odoms was a great teacher, she always interacted with her students like asking for their personal opinion and point of view,” said Emilio Magaña, a former student and Teachers Assistant of Mrs. Odoms.

Odoms is very family oriented but she always makes it a point to keep all of her students happy and engaged in their assignments.

“In addition, Mrs. Odoms serves as our Freshman Class Advisor AND as our National Honor Society Advisor.  Mrs. Odoms is a teacher that our students admire, respect and always request to be in her classes,” said Principal Ray Parks.

With many achievements under her belt, Odoms is a quality staff member that never fails to make sure all students have a well-rounded education.

“Mrs. Odoms was so energetic and always had a smile on her face and a student was behind or stuck she helped direct them in the right path,” said Emilio Magaña.
