Mrs. Shelby Ruff chooses Alexis Galarza from her Physical Science class as Student of the Week. For her hard work and dedication.

“She is the hardest working student I have this year,” said Ruff.

Alexis makes sure she knows what she is doing and focuses on learning and getting good grades.

“Alexis pays close attention in class and asks questions both during instruction and during work time to make sure she fully understands the topic and learning goals,” said Ruff.

Besides trying her best in school, she also strives for doing well in sports.

“I enjoy practicing basketball and volleyball outside of school and open gyms,” said Galarza.

Galarza enjoys science because it ties in with math and she feels it is a good thing for her to learn, and she drives to do well in school.

“I have big goals, and in order to get there I need good grades and qualifications,” said Galarza.
