High elevations do not seem to have an effect on the Lowry swim team.
The boys’ team won by 30 points and the girls’ team won by 15 up in Incline Village.
“The team did amazing for the first meet of the season. All of the new swimmers stepped up and did what they had to do to be able to get the win against Wooster. The scores were close, a little to close but that’s what we all swim for,” said Tori Echeverria.
The swim team is back in action this Friday when they go to Reno to swim against Fallon and on Saturday in Carson for the Aqua 5, the toughest meet of the year.
