As the varsity boy’s basketball season comes to an end they have shown how they can come together as a team.

“We are starting to come together as a team more and more all the time,” said coach Chad Peters.

The team had a great season. Since they were not able to play last year because of COVID-19 they wanted to make it as great as possible for the seniors who would be leaving.

“…this was my last season playing basketball and since we didn’t have a season my junior year we decided to make it as good as we could,” senior Ismael Magaña said.

They had their highlights and lowlights but making the playoff was something that was big for them.

“The highlight of the season was us coming together as a team and making it to the three seed,” said junior Isaac Danner.

They had a great season coming back for the first time in almost two years of not playing. They ended up with an overall record of 15-11.
