W2W: ‘The Three Stooges’

By Hayley Goldblatt Posted April 20, 2012

As the stooges race to save their childhood home, they accidentally stumble upon a murder plot and star in a reality TV show. This new movie, based on the old slapstick comedy TV show, the Three Stooges, is bound to bring back memories for some and create new ones for others. The movie is being made by 20th Century Fox, and after nearly a decade of casting problems, the crew started filming in May through July of last year. The movie stars Will Sasso as Curly Howard, Sean Hayes as Larry Fine, and Chris Diamantopoulos as Moe Howard.

The original Three Stooges TV started in the mid-1920s and was comprised of several non-related acts held together by a common bill, which is also known as vaudeville acts. They were originally known as Ted Healy and his Stooges, and they had their first movie produced by Fox Films in the ’30s and was titled Soup to Nuts. The movie was not really considered a success, but the stooge’s performance was memorable.

Anyone who remembers the woo-woo-wooing of the stooges is bound to have a memorable experience and those who do not remember them will love them anyway.
