One of the most entertaining shows that has been on television is “Amish Mafia.” “Amish Mafia” is a reality television show which aires on Discovery Channel.
“Amish Mafia” follows the lives of Lebanon Levi, the mafia leader, and his assistants, Alvin, Jolin, and John. These men are the protectors of their Amish community in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. They offer protection, financial assistance, and keep what they see as dangerous, out of their community.
These men operate the same way any mafia would, but with a bit of an Amish twist. They use buggies for transportation, live in modest homes, and dress in their Amish attire: flat-brimmed hats, dark colors, and slacks.
Whether or not the Amish Mafia exists has been questioned highly. The level of entertainment that “Amish Mafia” provides has not been.
