What to Watch: ‘Sleepy Hollow’

In 1781, under the orders of General George Washington, Icabod Crane follows his mission. He decapitates a man, who seemed to be invincible. They both fall on the ground, mortally wounded, as their blood mixes together. Mr. Crane then wakes up in present-day in the town of Sleepy Hollow, NY. Realizing that the headless horseman is back trying to recover his head, and bring on an apocalypse. The horseman is said to be death, one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse.

This suspenseful TV series isn’t quite as scary as many have hoped, however, I like the plot of it. There is a lot of death, mystery, and plain hilarity. This show is one of those that will make you think, it will make you worry, and it will give you chills. It’s a good show, which many will like to watch.

Icabod Crane (Tom Mison), and Lt. Grace Abbie Mills (Nichole Beharie) must protect the head of the horseman, making sure he doesn’t receive it, and make sure that the town of Sleepy Hollow stays safe. On top of that, they must research the cause of this supernatural occurrence, and stay alive.

If you like suspense, this is a show for you.

Sleepy Hollow airs on Fox on Mondays at 9 p.m. ET.
