“We Bought a Zoo” brought together many families as it captured them with its fun and loving scenes throughout the movie.
It all starts out with Benjamin Mee, played by Matt Damon, who recently lost his wife to health issues buying a house with a zoo. His 7-year-old daughter Rosie Mee, played by Maggie Elizabeth Jones, is excited to have a zoo be her new home; but his 14-year-old son Dylan Mee, played by Colin Ford, is unhappy and doesn’t give a care at all, and would rather distance himself from his dad all together.
As Benjamin (Damon) runs into money problems he may get the zoo taken away. So with the help of his friends he hopes he can keep it. This is a zoo that has brought his family back together after a huge heartache. He can’t afford to lose it.
This is a heartwarming film great for the whole family, it is rated PG-13.
