Wyatt’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

By Wyatt Lester Posted April 18, 2012

The sound of screaming guitar solos, slamming drums, and high octane vocals that break glass. You know what you’re listening to, Rock and Roll… plain and simple. Now those who can rock the loudest and the hardest will be placed at the top of the mountain and will be among the legends of what we love to listen to, not any of that country stuff or “party rock”. I’m talking about the stuff that makes you stick out your bottom lip and nod your head to the beat…true Rock and Roll.

The musician that I want to place in my Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is Jack White. White has been in bands such as The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, and The Dead Weather. He has been awarded multiple Grammy awards and has been placed at #70 in Rolling Stone’s top 100 guitarists of all time. He has played guitar and the drums in these bands and his signature style of guitar playing can be recognized throughout the rock scene. Songs like “Seven Nation Army”, “Steady as She Goes”, and my personal favorite “Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground” have been some of his most famous works that have gone to be recognized by many Rock and Roll enthusiasts.

He currently is producing music for his many bands that he has under his record label, Third Man Records. He has pursued a musical career that has put forth so many great records in the rock and roll genre and he will continue to do so for years to come.
