Junk food plays a major role in everyone’s life. This food creates happiness when someone is distraught.  However, junk food also creates a lot of side effects on your health. A lot of people forget how unhealthy junk food is.

Fast food consumption in the United States has increased dramatically, with 25% of people consuming unhealthy food daily.  Children and teens who eat a significant amount of junk food can experience symptoms like low energy, mood swings, and sleep disturbance.

Junk food also increases cholesterol and sugar levels. We all know how tasty junk food is compared to healthy food. Junk food is also less expensive.

Healthy foods are expensive; most people can’t afford to pay the price. For example, meat prices were higher in June, compared with fruits and vegetables.

There are many healthy foods that taste good such as asparagus, bell peppers, corn, green beans, carrots, tomatoes, olives, etc. Most people know healthy food is consumed daily, but not as much as it should be.
