Not all couples in a serious relationship are ready for engagement, but it doesn’t mean they’re neither committed nor faithful. Promise rings in this kind of situation can be good to symbolize their commitment to each other.
There are many opinions about promise rings. Most of them aren’t positive. Promise rings symbolize a “promise to love someone forever and hope to someday spend the rest of their lives together.”
They can be good but then again, you should be faithful in a relationship anyway.
Promise rings aren’t very popular anymore. Jewelry stores don’t make much of them, just custom rings.
If someone is in a relationship with another person (same sex or not), they should already be able to know that both partners are committed.
A promise ring doesn’t have to be worn in order for your partner to know you’re faithful. You can prove that you are.
If you’re one of those people who play others and aren’t any relationship material, let’s just say you shouldn’t even be dating. If you aren’t, and you know that your gut feeling says you might have found the right one, you should consider wearing a promise ring.
