As the school year is going full speed, all of the classes are discussing their plans for the year. Thursday, October 11, all the classes held a mandatory class meeting to discuss things such as fundraisers and class points.
Seniors did not speak about their plans for the year. Newmont had a mining presentation that focused on job shadowing, and how many fields of study are available to them once they graduate. Gina Rackley talked about the Raffle tickets being sold for a chance to win a brand new F-150 Ford truck. This was also an opportunity for seniors to get extra prize tickets for their Sober Grad Party.
Juniors are preparing for the annual prom, along with fundraisers to throw the best prom yet. The junior class president and vice president also told the junior class how they could get more involved and earn more class points to win the class of the year for the second year in a row.
Sophomores were also talking about class points, their plans for community service, and behavior at assemblies.
The freshmen focused on rules and behavior for assemblies and fundraiser ideas, they also talked about bringing their class points up to hopefully beat the juniors for the class of the year.
