Donovan Brumm was selected Student-Athlete of the Week by varsity football coach, Tim Billingsley.
“Donovan is a great athlete. He plays smart and did an excellent job against Fernley,” said Billingsley.
Even though football has had a rough start, Brumm still has faith in the team.
“This season hasn’t been too bad. We’re still figuring some things out, but it’s good for the most part,” said Brumm.
After the Lowry Buckaroos were defeated by the Fernley Vaqueros 47-14, the varsity is still holding their heads high.
“What we mostly need to do is come together as a team. If we come together, we will go far,” said Brumm.
Lowry plays Truckee at home on Friday, September 12 at 7 p.m.
