With an amazing buzzer-beater win, the Lowry girl’s varsity basketball team won Regionals. Coach Chelsea Cabatbat nominated two of her players for Athlete of the Week for obvious reasons.
“After last week, I’d have to pick two players. Offensively, Alyssa Kuskie’s game-winning shot at the buzzer was amazing. Defensively, Kenadee Jeppsen had a great game. She held a player to seven points. It was huge,” said Cabatbat.
Both the girls are first-year varsity members, so they have done very well on the team this year.
The girl’s basketball team will be going to Reno on February 27 to compete for the State title in the hopes of bringing it home.
