The varsity boy’s soccer team faced a loss of 2-0 against Sparks on October 30. Although the boys have not had a perfect season, they still remain ambitious for next season and future games.

“I thought we played good and we played like a team, I’m proud of our performance that game,” said Trevor Burroughs.

Although there are some things that the team could improve on they still have worked hard throughout the season and have improved immensely according to their coach Steve Swanson.

Ariel Gonzalez knew the reason he didn’t score, his secret weapon is one that not many consider for playing well on a soccer field.

“I would have scored if my bae was there,” said Ariel Gonzalez.

Although the boys lost they are still remaining positive for future games and future seasons. Many of the players stated that they think they will continue to play well as a team and as individuals and are very excited to see what the future holds for them and the team.
