Senior Hailey Hinkle was chosen for Student-Athlete of the Week by coach Grant Beatty.
Beatty said he’s very proud of Hinkle and the 4×4 team.
“She broke the school record of 300 hurdles. I was amazed,” said Beatty.
At the last meet, Hinkle got a time of 60.98 seconds in the open 400-meter dash, as well as clearing 5’2” in a high jump. Then, she competed in the 300-meter hurdles and took first place with a time of 46.11 seconds.
“The season overall has been such an amazing experience,” said Hinkle.
The senior stated her track experience has been great since she started so long ago.
“Track has made me mentally stronger, and I wouldn’t have made it this far without my teammates and my coaches,” said Hinkle.
