The Varsity football team had a devastating loss to Wooster High, Friday night, 9-6 winning score is always first. Despite all the hard work and sweat, Wooster kicked a field goal to win the game in the 4th quarter. Leading up to the field goal, the Bucks had held them to just 6 points.
The game had been tied since before it came to the final seconds. Lowry had the ball in the red zone, but couldn’t convert on 4th down.
Despite losing the game when asked, Joe Peterson was very pleased with his team’s effort on the field.
“Our defense was in beast mode all night,” said Peterson.
Peterson really stresses the team needs practice on offense in order to win games.
“Our offense really needs work if we plan on winning games in the future,” said Peterson.
The Bucks’ next game is September 29 in South Tahoe.
