The Buckaroos kicked off a home game against Elko on October 12.
Sophomore Taylor Corak and his team lost against Elko. The team made minor mistakes but overall had a successful game day.
“We seem to not come out with energy after halftime, which has been a problem we have had before,” said Corak. “But as a team we played very good, the scoreboard just didn’t show it.”
Freshman Anthony Hemp and his team are correcting the errors the team made by working harder at practice and going over both the offense and defense, as well as working on reducing turnovers.
“We’ve been working on things like trying to have fewer turnovers and even leadership; we have also been working on both the offense and defense to get ready for the next game,” said Hemp.
The Buckaroos have made constant improvement, and that shows hard work and dedication to their plays.
“We have been working hard to show the crowd that we’ve been improving,” said Hemp.
Lowry JV football will be back in action on Wednesday, October 25.
