Freshmen Football ended their 2017 season on October 26, with a loss to Spring Creek.
“The season didn’t end the way we wanted it to, but the team always played hard and worked hard,” said coach Adam Sorenson.
Football may be over, and everyone has different reasons to remember this season.
“The most memorable event of the season was our game in Sparks,” said Sorenson. “We lost by two, but it came down to the end. It was a crazy game, and probably the best game we played all year.”
“The most memorable moment for me was our game in Truckee, when I got a concussion,” said right-back, Adam Dossey. “A lot happened in that game. I scored a 95-yard touchdown, which was pretty cool.”
Wide receiver Colton Von Aspern said, “The best thing about playing football this year was scoring touchdowns and helping the team out.”

The team will move on to jv and varsity in the years to come, and they say that they’re ready.
“We did a good job of executing plays at home,” said Von Aspern
Dossey said, “We’re definitely physically ready for JV and Varsity, but we need to work on being a team.”
“They’re ready to move on and do some great things,” said Sorenson.
