On Saturday, September 22, the Lowry Cross Country team traveled to Meridian, ID, for the  Bob Firman Invitational, and many of the runners posted new personal bests at the elite race.

According to coach Kristin Flanders, all of the runners competed to the best of their ability.

“All Lowry runners ran their best race of the season with some placing in the top 20 of their races,” said Flanders.

Seniors Will Kracaw and Rebecca Kuskie, as well as freshman Jovi Kuskie, all performed exceptionally well.

“Jovi Kuskie placed 5th in the 9th-grade girls’ race, Becca Kuskie placed 6th in the Division 1 Girls Varsity race, and Will Kracaw placed 12th in the Division 1 Boys Varsity race,” said Flanders.

Flanders was proud of the team’s performance.

“We are extremely proud of all the hard work our athletes have been putting in at practice, and it is paying off with improved times at every meet,” said Flanders.
