On Friday, October 13, the Lowry girls’ soccer team traveled to North Tahoe and Truckee. The girls played North Tahoe on Friday and Truckee on Saturday.

The Lady Bucks lost both of their away games, 6-1 against North Tahoe, and 8-0 against Truckee.

The girls’ JV coach, Jen Partee, believes that her team played exceptionally well.

“However, despite challenges, these players stepped up to the challenge and played well,” said coach Partee. “It’s awesome to be able to say that no matter the situation, these ladies are always here to play soccer – and they do just that to the end of every game.”

The team faced many injuries and was left subless.

“The games against North Tahoe and Truckee were tough games, and we went into these games on the heels of more challenges,” said coach Partee. “We had more injuries occur, which left us without subs again.”

Coach Partee is very proud of her team.

“I love their passion and enthusiasm for soccer and couldn’t be prouder of this team,” said Partee.

The Lady Bucks’ next game is against Fernley on Wednesday, October 17.
