On Saturday, December 14, 2018, the varsity boys took on the Truckee Wolverines.
The Bucks started off the first half and pounded the Wolverines’ defense. On a fast break, point guard Brendan Domire slammed one down.
Brendan Domire had some words after his dunk.
“It was a great feeling getting to dunk it after years of waiting. I think it really got everyone in the gym excited,” said Domire. “The team fed off of that energy and felt more confident in their own ways. We all played a lot better.”
Truckee couldn’t stop the Bucks from getting inside the paint. Post Kobe Stoker had a good game against Truckee, leading the team with 16 points.
“I don’t care about how many points I score, I just want to help my team win,” said Stoker.

Lowry was in control from the opening tip and maintained pressure on the ball, resulting in 15 steals for the Bucks.
In the second half, Lowry came out and held the pressure on the Wolverines. Coach Chad Peters was happy with their effort.
“We worked really hard this weekend and played a lot smarter than we have been. Our effort was consistent for all four quarters,” said Peters.
The Bucks’ next game will be on December 21 against the Spring Creek Spartans.
