The Student-Athlete of the Week is Luis Cardenas from varsity football. He plays center on offense, and tackle on defense. Cardenas has a positive attitude and he has embraced his role as a leader.

“The team overall did a good job on starting fast in all the phases of starting the game,” said coach Tyrell Lucas.
“Cardenas can do anything he puts his mind to. I know he will be successful in the future if he is determined he can do anything,” said coach Tyrell Lucas.
