The Lowry Boys golf team excelled at the regional tournament at Shaffer’s course last week, Wednesday, May 9. The boys finished second as a team and overall had finished with one of their best scores.
Senior Zane Fifield was impressed with his team’s work.
“We did very well as a team, shooting our best scores, a 330 and second in strokes,” said Fifield.
The tournament helped the boys prepare for state in many ways.
“The tournament was an excellent test for performing at state, the course was in amazing shape and a truly great track to play and end our regular season on,” added Fifield.
The Bucks will head to state in Mountain Falls Golf Club in Pahrump, Nevada, on May 14-15.
