On Thursday, November 4 many people came to Lowry to enjoy a pulled pork dinner along with a great concert held by the LHS Choir group. It was a good fundraiser for the group to make money for their trips. The night started off with a few songs by Lowry’s Women’s Choir and was finished up with songs by Swing Choir.
“The dinner was so much fun. Everyone sang really well and all the practicing we had really paid off. We raised around $1,000 for the trips and tours we will be making around Christmas. Larry Littrell did fantastic, he was so happy all night and hit his solo spot on,” said choir member Kaydie Tervort.
As a whole, the dinner was a huge success. Many people showed up, and they did a lot better than anticipated.
