Could the Cubs break their curse?

Could the Cubs break their curse?

The cursed Chicago Cubs have not won a World Series since 1908. In 2008, 100 years after winning their previous title, the Cubs entered the playoffs with one of the best teams in the league. Many believed it was the Cubs’ destiny to win that year. But everything that could have gone wrong did. The Cubs lost three games in a row to the Dodgers, and the curse continued.

This season, the Cubs have proven to be one of the best teams in the majors with the best regular-season record of 103-58.

The Cubs brought down the Giants in the division series after only three games. Leaving everyone to question if this could be the year that this everlasting curse is broken.

They are now fighting their way into the World Series in the league championship playoffs against a good Dodger team that will put up a fight.

Their first game was on Saturday, October 15. They took down the Dodgers 8-4, sealing the game in the 8th inning with a grand slam from catcher Miguel Montero.

The second game was played the next day. Pitcher Clayton Kershaw of the Dodgers dominated the game, allowing only two hits the entire game. The Dodgers won the game 1-0.

Although it is early to predict that the Cubs could win it all this year, many people believe that this is the year. The Cubs have continued to show that they are one of the best teams in the league, with lots of talent, and are very exciting to watch.

The Cubs’ next game against the Dodgers will be on Tuesday, October 18.
