Cross Country had a meeting last Saturday at 3 pm. It was their first home meet of the season.
The team has had a great season so far and they have been working hard to get to State this year.
The whole team is always stretching, doing warm-ups, or cheering for their teammates.
Emily Jock is a JV and varsity runner and is proud of her team and had this to say.
“My opinion about the team is they are all amazing. They really do help when you’re running and are always there to cheer you on. They’re a great team. We have also not just become friends, but family,” said Jock.
Camryn Maher also gave her opinion about the team.
I feel like we’re actually doing really good, and I think we have a chance at going to state,” said Maher.
Cross Country’s next meet is at Elko on October 16.
