This past Wednesday, Ms. Rebecca Hill’s Agriculture Leadership class went to Hycroft Mine to tour the mine and help with a barbeque, and they had the chance to ride in mine equipment simulators.

“The kids had a lot of fun. They all worked well together. Hycroft also donated to the FFA program,” said the advisor, Mrs. Rebecca Hill.

The FFA program is a program that kids can participate in and learn about agriculture and a wide variety of other things.

“The tour was good. Everyone helped out a lot and learned a lot about the art of mining,” said Blake Duncan, who is also the president of the Winnemucca FFA chapter.

The donation will contribute towards the FFA travel expenses and chapter activities.
