The JV Lady Bucks hosted Truckee September 15 and lost 12-2.
Even though the Lady Bucks didn’t win their game, sophomore Booke Howard thought their performance was still very good against the Wolverines.
“I think our team performed very good I think we also had good passes,” said Howard.
The Bucks had a few issues they need to improve on during the game sophomore Anjolie Karrer said.
“Communication is a big one that we’ve had an issue for awhile using one another for our passing triangles,” said Karrer.

Coach Jen Partee thought the team performed well in the loss to Truckee.
“As far as what the team did well, they were able to get off some strong shots against a very tough team, they kept playing the game and they stayed together as a team, no matter how tough the outlook,” said Partee. “That’s a hard thing to do when the outlook gets grim and I’m very proud of them for that. We need to improve our shot accuracy as well as maintaining a tighter defense, especially when faced with these tougher teams.”
